Four numbers can describe different things
A community base price is a reference for a named item. Its current condition and grade describe that particular copy. Mutations can change the value again. The customer offer is the amount being offered now. Do not substitute one for another, and do not assume community item prices are player-to-player trade prices. This page is an appraisal guide, not a complete item database.
Appraise the copy you actually have
Read the full item name and its condition, grade and mutation labels. Check whether it is required for a quest, collection dependency or equipment use. If Dirty, consider Cleaning; if broken, consider Repair; if a safe, use the Locksmith. Then compare the actual shop offer with the cost of obtaining the item and the alternative of waiting. Record a date when using a community price.
What processing can and cannot do
Cleaning removes the Dirty mutation according to the beginner walkthrough. Grading can move value either up or down; a new grade is not a guaranteed gain. The Locksmith reveals what a safe contains. The Repair Shop fixes broken stock. Quick Sell is an immediate-cash option, while your shop lets you accept or reject customer offers. No service here is promised to produce a specific profit percentage.
A dated grading reference
The inspected July community guide lists Replica 0.55x, One-Star 0.85x, Two-Star 1.35x and Three-Star 2.0x of its appraised reference. That table explains why grading can reduce value as well as raise it. It supplies no verified current probability for each result, so the four outcomes must not be treated as equally likely. The newer calculator keeps grade fixed at No Grade 1.0x; it does not resolve the old grading table. Treat these as model-specific references and compare the actual current grade/value shown.
Compare an offer with a stated reference
Example only: if the reference shown for your copy is $200 and a customer offers $150, the offer is 75% of that reference. That describes the offer ratio; it does not establish a 25% loss, because your acquisition cost may be different. If you paid $120 plus $10 in costs for that item, the $150 sale leaves $20. Do not allocate a whole locker cost to every item in it.
Why there is no exact sale-price calculator here
The currently inspected community calculator applies markup, mutation factors and a dynamic condition floor with grade fixed to No Grade 1.0x. It explicitly multiplies stacked mutations; older sources add them. Its default example is Cardboard Hat, Junk Yard, raw base $40, with $40 shown at 100% condition and no mutation. This is a source-reported example, not a developer price guarantee. For individual item listings, see the linked community item directory. This guide does not reproduce its full price catalog. Use the appraisal steps above to compare your item and offer; the conflicting mutation models mean these references cannot establish one guaranteed sale price.
