Modifiers with different acquisition paths

Mutations are item effects. The official game description names Gold, Diamond, Void and Rainbow; the numeric table on this page is community-reported, acquired 17 September 2026. It is a selected reference, not a complete official tier list or a guarantee that every mutation can currently be obtained.

Addition is a reported rule, not the entire price formula

The July-era sources describe addition: Silver 2x plus Gold 4x gives 6x. The currently inspected community calculator explicitly uses multiplication, giving 8x for the same two labels. These are conflicting community models, not interchangeable rules. Neither has been verified in-game for this guide. Keep both versions visible; do not infer an exact customer offer from either without checking the current item, condition and grade. No full sale-price output is calculated here.

Separate the systems before chasing a roll

Standard mutation finds come from auction loot. Weather or event labels depend on their matching event window; a past event name is not proof it is active today. Washing applies to Dirty items and may produce a washing mutation. The Time Capsule uses its own pool; it is not a selector for any named mutation. Museum effects such as Showcased or Artifact refer to display luck in the current community table, so they are not normal cash multipliers.

The reported Time Capsule pool

The current community table reports Cobwebbed 1.2x, Antique 2x, Ancient 5x and Timeless 12x. It describes repeated five-minute rolls until one result lands, with a separate pool from auction mutations. These figures remain source-reported; no guaranteed completion time or expected profit is offered. Do not insert a valuable item on the assumption that you can choose Timeless. The reported chance per five-minute roll is 2.5% Cobwebbed, 0.5% Antique, 0.1% Ancient and 0.025% Timeless. Those sum to 3.125% for any result on a roll. The source gives 80%, 16%, 3.2% and 0.8% respectively among eventual successful outcomes. Per-roll chance and share of successful outcomes answer different questions; neither is a guaranteed wait.

When an older list gives a different number

The July-era lists inspected show Spotless at 3x and Wet at 6x; the current selected community table reports Spotless at 2.5x and Wet at 1.4x. Keep the source and date next to any calculation. Rainbow and Secret are also absent or unknown in some older lists. We do not resolve a patch difference by averaging the numbers or declaring one personally verified.

Washing, passives and display effects

The current community table reports that a Dirty item may be washed once, removing Dirty and possibly adding Pure, Spotless or neither. It describes Mint washing as a luck-based route to Perfect. Fossil is reported as a 5x effect tied to accessory passives, with chance determined by the equipped gear. Mint is listed as 1x plus an unknown customer-tip effect; Showcased and Artifact are Museum display effects reported as +50% and +100% Luck, not cash-price multipliers.
